We went out to Georges shop last weekend to pickup some 17" wheels he got for my 750 sport and have a look about as we havent been to his new house yet.
Candice fell in love with his old Honda he had restored. Mostly elbow greas and a seat cover.

A shot with Georges 900ss.

More of Georges cool stuff. A EU, or should I say not for US Yamaha 600 with a 8 gal. tank for the Dekar.

What you think the top end on the OSSA with this rear sprocket?

Kenny Roberts Yamaha RD 350 2 smoke liquid. FUN FUN FUN!!

Wow cool bikes!  That's a huge rear sprocket!  I imagine that it has no problem doing wheelies.

My first "fast" bike was a RD400 1975 brand new out of the dealership in S.F. I was torn between the Honda 400 4 and the RD. I was so glad I went yammie, wheelies were so easy with her, then chambers, DG heads, reporting the heads and of course better carbs. I miss that little ring dinger.
I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity.

i had the orange 77. Gold DG sunburst heads, larger carbs, basani pipes, electronic ignition....she was a sweet bike. Like you say...wheelies so easily when the power kicked in.....I miss her :(

I miss spoke myself I re-ported the cylinders filing away at the ports I went thru a few cylinders that way, I finally ended up with TZ-750 pistons, the rings were like baleing wire. I think it brought it out to 430cc of 4-stroke killing power. Never had access to a dyno back then, that device was a legendary source of mystical power.  Or so I heard whispered...
