The plunger is there to do two things.

1. it keeps the fluid from slushing around

2. the fluid does not get too mauch air circulated into it, as it is slushing around.

Pull the top off, and make sure when the bike is level the fluid level is at least halfway btween the upper and lower marks. Then put the cover back on and dont worry about where the rubber bladder/ plunger is. It just keeps the fluid from slushing about.

Then get more lessons from Zoran...you know they say he can out brake Ben Spies........
