I'm planning to go on a ride early tomorrow morning (Saturday, 7 or 8 am departure from south reno).  I'm thinking of going down 395 and over sonora pass and back (am open to suggestions on the route back 4? back over 108? 88?).  If anyone is interested in joining me please post here.  I'll be riding my GS, and don't plan on stopping more than once every few hours (or less).  If you need to stop every 30 minutes that probably won't work for me.

What time do you plan on being back in town?

You are correct sir!  Sorry about that folks.

Funny, I was thinking of taking Hwy 4 tomorrow, but 120 will do.  I need to stop near Groveland, which is a lot past Sonora Pass, but I could ride with you for the first half of your ride.

Where's the join-up in South Reno?  The earlier the better, because the ride for me will be a stinker (hot)!

I'm good with going over or back on 4 or 108.  Not interested in 120 on the weekend (at least not from 395 to Groveland).

How about 7 or 8 a.m. at the Starbucks near Walmart in South Reno (Damonte Ranch and South Virginia).  I'll be offline here for a few hours.  Either time you pick is fine with me.  We can discuss a route in the morning.  I'll check online here one more time in a few hours (and in the morning as well).

120?  Ignore that.  :P  It was on my brain for some reason.  Hwy 108 is cool with me, actually preferred, since I took Hwy 4 last week and west of Mt. Reba, it's almost too straight and boring.  I'm good with 7AM, but I know I'll be late.  Temps (64*) at that time should be ideal.  I better hit the hay.

See you at 7:00.  If you are not there by 7:20 or so, I'll probably head out solo.  Anyone else who is reading this is free to join us as well.

Good news.  I'm on time this morning.  Just need to walk the dog, then I'm on my way.  See you there shortly.  (5:25AM).

Thanks for hanging with me today Ghostrider.  I had a great time.  409 miles.  Pace was excellent and kudos for letting me know the CHP was sitting behind where we parked.  ;)  Here's a link to today's picture gallery and a sample pic.

I had a great time as well.  We'll have to ride again some time soon.  I think staying up in the mountains on the way home was a good idea.  It was hot as hell in the valley.  Feel free to shoot me an e-mail if you want to ride again some time in the future.  We'll have to plan on stopping a few more times for photos next time, we should have taken a few more over Sonora pass.
