Hey Justin & Other SSA Friends,

I have ridden with a Valentine One on my scooter for the past 6 - 7 years, wouldn't leave home without it!  I have not received one ticket since its installation (even use it in my Prius).

The V-1 is a premium product, one of the top two portables in sensitivity, but unique as it has two sets of receivers allowing directional information (fromt, side, rear).  Very important ... if I get a "hit" from the rear, I speed-up a bit to stay ahead  ;)

My V-1 is velcro-attached behind the tinted windscreen, and is audio hard-wired into my Collette helmet communicator (an awesome 900 mhz waterproof snowmobile unit).  I tried the LED light system once, and thought it was too distracting (blinding) in flat-light or night riding.  Imagine being blinded mid-corner  :o    Anyway, I prefer the audio BEEEEP, telling me band and proximity.

I will be upgrading this summer to a new wireless bluetooth transceiver / helmet communicatior, and am researching two brands.

Hope to see you all on a mid-June ride (will be riding down from the Oregon coast), as well as Jerome's Swim Ride and the Coastal Overnighter!

Thanks for replying and making it public!   I felt silly asking you a public question and then waiting for you to come back from some 'around the world tour' i didn't know about.  Great feedback. . . thanks again.
