New here and was looking to introduce myself.

Not to impose but I wanted to introduce myself as I will be meeting a few of you on Sunday.

I was looking for a new rider section on your forum , or something like that and didn't see one.

Where do people introduce themselves to the group?

I am with SCR and have run into some of you in the past at mosquito ridge, I am a ridge junkie.

Anyways my name is Carl and I will see some of you at the start of Icehouse , I will be on an 08 cbr1k silver and black.

Can't wait for Sunday...................

Stoppie. Welcome to the SSA. We all about riding motorcycles. Getting together and having fun. We have our own bike night at La Vecchia every Tuesday night at 6:30 till 8:00.  We are big into Sunday rides. (This Sunday were headed to Wentworth Springs off of Hwy 50) Check our ride schedule. We are also into Track Days. They give you the opportunity to hone your skills. We want you to become a good a safe rider.

My elbows hurt every time I see the avitar..

1984..it was dark....the GPZ wide open in 3d gear...........time for a stoppie....... sand in road (invisible to the eyes)............hard front brake.......bike is gone........sliding down the road on my ass and elbows.....ugly ugly.

1981 GPZ 550 totalled...... lectured at hospital by lovely nurse whilst she is scraping the sand/gravel out of muscle tissue it was imbedded into... with no antistetic......."hey could you numb that area for me??   "NO!!"  .......fantastic!!!

Living through it to swear never to do another stoppie...."priceless".

Good luck with he stoppies, I have sworn them off.

Hello my name is_______  ________ I have been riding since 19__ or 20__  for the younger ones (1975 for Ted)

I have been "squid free" since ________ (1984 for ted)
(be honest we was all squidly at one time or another)

A great guy name of _________ (Jerome for ted) got me on the track in ______ (2007 for ted)
