Another newbie here

Just picked up a 1999 TL 1000R up here in Portland OR. I will be making a move back home to Carson city on July 15th. I picked a sport bike mainly because of its style and to help improve my nerdy image a bit (Im just a poser) I went with the TLR because of the V-twin power, sound, and unbelievable handling (it was really the price). Im defiantly a very social person and looking to do group rides, bike nights, and to check out everyones girl friend. 

Really want to get on the road with local riders soon.

Daniel Welcome again. I wanted to let you also know I love the sound of the TL. I've heard a lot of things about the bike. But the sound is really cool. Their a real beast. Are you going to come the race Track with that? We have one in August if your interested. If not we'll hopefully see you on a Sunday ride.
