Group Ride 08/19/12 La Porte

Looks like everyone had a great time today! My bud rolled into town last night and wanted to go to the Big Reno Gun Show at GSR today, so had to pass on the ride.

It was a great ride out to Quincy and back.  

Yeah, glad we didn't drop down into the central valley; I heard from the CHP that there were some trouble makers down that way.

I didn't hear that conversion, he could have been looking for either of those groups that went by us on the way into Quincy.  I wonder what recourse he'd have against them after the fact.  I did think it was odd how he rolled in all slow like.

Good thing we had Bigcat out front to keep everyone in check.  55 seems to take forever on hwy 70, but better that than risking citation.  And it was nice to escape the heat with a pizza run up to Quincy and back.

It sucks that my bike was running on only one cyl. I know that it held everyone back. Hell , even the cars were honking at me as they went by. I hope to have it fixed soon. Other than that it was a  very good ride.
