Sunday 11/04/12 casual ride up to VC

Tagged along with two other riders going up to VC today for BBQ.  Yes, Spence's favorite BBQ, the one at the end of town with the smoker out front.  Never been there and it was suppose to be a short ride, obviously, but it's been a while since I rode there and we all ended up taking the wrong side of 341/431 and ended up practically in South Lake Tahoe.  What a disaster!   

Fortunately, from there we knew how to get over to VC, coming up from the south. 

BBQ was good and so was the excursion.  Gonna have to ride up there again when I get the chance.  Beautiful day to be on two wheels.  And thanks for letting me tag along!

Looks like it was a good ride.   Wish I could have joined. But. My rear tire is about to die.
