Donner Summit Hillclimb

Any of you guys that have lived in Reno for at least 10 or 15 years remember these hillclimbs they used to do on Donner Summit? I found this old video from 2001 and it seemed like a really cool event. Donner Pass Rd is short but very fun! In fact, I like it better than Geiger Grade. Here ya go:

Cool.  I would probably enter that race if they still held it.

That is so cool.  I have been in Reno/Tahoe most of my life and never knew about this event.  Would have been fun to watch in person.  The pace seems fairly safe and sane.
