Wentworth/Icehouse rd.

Anyone been up to Wentworth or Icehouse recently? Ill be heading up there this weekend and am wondering how the road conditions are.

I think you'll be alright.  The pictures I've seen on SCR from 2 1/2 weeks ago showed the snow had almost melted off from the roadway at the upper elevations.  Sacramento has been bathing in mid-90 degree heat for over a week already, so if there is stuff on the road, it's probably tree related.  Our temps have picked up as well, so there's little chance the snow in between would last very long.

TB5 and I went up to summit by Bucks and no snow could be found. 

Take in a sighting lap just in case, then take a pace you feel comfortable with once you know what to expect throughout.
