That is extremely sad and is a big blow for everybody involved. Hopefully this does not put stigma towards future hopefuls being involved in our sport.

Wow, just saw this. That really sucks.

As far as future hopefuls, I think there is risks involved in just about everything. To me it is just as dangerous if not more dangerous to ride on the street as it is on the track. If I had a child, I would rather see them riding on the track than on the street...but you all know I am biased.
