servicing your forks

ok how my question is (which luke thanks for all that)  I have stoke f4i shock, nonseviceable from what Ive heard what you do to racetech says there all kinds of kits springs values.  Can you service and change the stock inturnals.

What year is your bike?

It shows that Race Tech has springs and a Type 1 valve kit for the 02. 01-03 should be the same stuff.

Where did you read it wasn't serviceable?


Update: Ok so you are talking about that its a nitrogen filled shock and not oil...? I will look at mine when I get home. But I have a hard time believing a suspension shop couldn't work with it... not sure.  Anybody else?

You can service pretty much all of them. I would have to contact ractech to see if the stuff they show for the '02 will work for all years. The shock needs to be done by a shop with the knowledge though.
