anyone have a chainbreak tool?

Hi all!
I'm looking forward to my 1st track day this weekend. $80 to put a new chain on at the shop, $90 for the tool. any good samaritans out there?

Is the chain already cut to length or does it need to be cut too?

I haven"t purchased a new chain yet, thinking of getting an RK on the way to the track, so yeah, it needs to be cut to lenghh

I have used the Motion Pro chain breaker kit, do you have one in stock??

The KZ is a 630 chain so the kit would need to cover the tractor chain size. If you have one in stock i'll be in Reno Thursday.

On 520 and up just grind the side plate, not sure what Steve might have but 630 is going to require a stout chain break tool. My experience has been to just use a tool to install a new link but otherwise, grind.

After much searching I have decided to just grind the dam (630) thing.

Next time I will pay the big bucks for a custom 520 kit, chain sprockets etc.

hmm, I am abit late in this response..  Even with my Motion Pro Jumbo, I still prefer to do like others have mentioned and grind the pins down.
