250 mile ride planned for 04/17 - south

ok it's comfirmed. We'll be departing the Starbuck at Waterloo and 395 at 11pm. It's in the Scolaries parking lot (across from Smiths/Taco Bell/Jack in the crack).

See Events section if interested.  Those considering going should 'leave' Reno no later than 10:00AM.

I dont know about 250 miles,......... but I know somebody went 140 mph!,, NUT! Oh and someone lost a chain in 6th gear PINNED!!

140 miles for you and 250 for us Reno riders. 

For as far out of the way as Smith Valley seemed on the map, Bridgeport didn't feel like it was all that far away.   The highway doesn't really have any fewer turns, maybe slightly faster at 35 MPH than Walker Canyon's few 25 MPH corners.  But yeah, with it being much straighter it does seem like a faster way to go.
