Fecta ride is scheduled for Saturday the 11th (thanks for the reminder Trinnie). I'm a bit concerned about the temps. It's slated for 100 degrees! Call me what you will but this is a difficult ride under ideal conditions. What do you guys think about postponing for a week?

You just want to cruise S. Virginia street with the hot rods!

I didn't anticipate temps being so high.  That will certainly sap our strength.  It wouldn't hurt my feelings any.

Sparky, can you reschedule your time off?

This is pretty much my last weekend of the summer.  And I cannot reschedule. But I totally understand about the heat issues.  If it isn't in the cards for me, then it just isn't.  No worries.

Dang!!! We can't have a Fecta ride without SparkyGix.

For that matter, we could postpone until she could make it.  It doesn't sound like she'll have any available weekends though.

Like to see Bigcat out there too...on a new S1000.   8)

BTW, I've designed our shirts.  Just need to pull the trigger and order them.  Thought I'd try first to find a local print shop rather than one on the east coast.  I'm thinking that white T-shirts is the easiest from a production standpoint.  It requires fewer colors, since white is already present.

I could easily do a mid week and that sounds more enjoyable then braving triple digits.

Whats this??? BC got a new race bike??????

Sorry, no.  But it's on his wishlist, from the discussions we've had.  So if anyone's looking for a well maintained Honda Blackbird 1100, I'd think he'd consider offers.  Its engine is glass smooth from what I've read and it has heaps of power.  It's just not the bike for the tighter roads we ride, i.e. can't match a CBR-1000RR's handling.

Okay, well, I've made alternative plans for Saturday/Sunday.  Not riding either day and I'm cancelling the Fecta ride until at least next weekend.

Sorry Sparky.  Damn, I feel so bad about doing that to you.  Can't control the weather however and have to agree that 100* is just a little on the unsafe side for riding all geared up.

I have a friend in town that does prints if you want I can PM you her info just to get a price at least.

FYI I have the 26th available  :angel
Otherwise I'll just make an 8x10 pic of me and you'll have to set it up in the group photos, lol

August 26th works for me.  How about you Brian?
