Anyone planning on Riding tomorrow? The scheduled ride is to dville and back. I'll probably need a bit more excitement but I could tag along then head over gold hill towards la porte on the way back if I'm not fully satisfied.

No sh!t, the RG???? I'd love to see one up close n personal. I guess we will meet up at Starbucks on mccarran. What time you think? It's a bit chilly before 8:30 so 8:30 or 9 would be ideal for me but open to whatever

Thanks everybody for an awesome ride!! Was great to meet some new peeps.. Rich, John and Monica I believe if I remember correctly. Everyone rode admirably and kept the rubber side down.

Ok there were definitely some events worth recapping. On 89 coming out of Truckee I'm leaned into a Turn watching the vanishing line and guess what appears??? A really dumb person with his truck parked in the road blocking at least 50% of my lane... I mean come on!! This is a blind turn!! I honked but have come to the conclusion that bike manufactures' need to upgrade the horns on these things.. like alot!

Ok, we make it to dville and sitting at the pizza joint checking out the menu.. One of ther pizzas is named the "G arret Special". Not joking! Alright GM, you need a dville pizza intervention!

Then RG500nut offered to let me ride his RG500. Wow, what a treat. So light and so much character to the power delivery. Thanks Tom!

Pike road is always a highlight.. good times!

Ok Lastly I'm just past Yuba summit heading down towards Sierraville and I come up on an Audi. All of a sudden he turns up the heat and I'm like great.. he's going too fast to pass and then he's gonna hit the breaks and ruin all the turns. Not the case! Next thing I know I'm dragging appendages around turns and he is seriously keeping pace. I could actulally smell his tires burning as I was matching his speed around the turns. Was super fun and we did the I know that you know that we both know that we were getting it kinda wave.

All in all a great day!

That's great you guys were able to get in a day of good riding too.  The most I could muster today was a nap and that has been interrupted by text messages, so  :hangover ...worn out.  At least, my hangover is gone.
It's about taking in the most corners to your destination, not about the shortest, quickest route.

I wish I could have made this ride,  but I was busy riding back from bishop, ca

Hey Brian,

Wanted to let you know Monica and I enjoyed our ride Sunday.    It was nice meeting you and fun leading the group back on I80.

Seriously considering the fall colors trip on Bucks lake road!

Thanks for making our first outing a GREAT trip :)

Hey Rich, welcome to the board!

GM, that must have been a hell of a ride to whoop your iron butt to the point that you didn't want to go do it all over again the next morn.
