Ill try to make the next ride,  got stuck at work today.

From what I could hear, the thunder kept up for about another hour, sounded like it was getting worse, then abruptly stopped.  Good to hear of a successful first outing.

Post again.  Everything's ready for riding here.  I'd rather take my chances in the corners, than getting popped by Mother Nature.  Just not next Wednesday too.  Was told we postponed poker until next week at the last minute and went riding my road bicycle instead of going to PJ's last night.

Looking forward to meeting the new faces.  Until next time!  :)

It's about taking in the most corners to your destination, not about the shortest, quickest route.

I took a picture for you, GM, so you wouldn't feel bad for staying in.   ;D

We talked about doing a Mt. Rose ride to reach the cooler air; that might be a fun one some evening.

The last two days would have played out more detrimentally, T-storms, hail and all.  I guess we need the moisture and it does cool us down from the 100°+ temps.

My rear tire is nearing its wear-bars, so VC would be a good send off for the many miles of fond memories it has generated. Got a replacement ready to go.  All prepared for some tasty turns and BBQ, if anyone is thinking the same.

I'll do the VC ride any time, that one is fun.  I would have done bike night last night, but I was really tired after the MSF class.  Not used to getting up at 5 am anymore...   :)
