I shall. I am bringing a couple newbs too!

I shant. I will be attending the first meeting trying to get a motocross park here in northern Nevada....something that seems to have little interest. They are now being opposed by an animal rescue group who thinks the local animal shelter is too close to the proposed park.

I cannot make it either.  :( I am an umpire for the fast pitch softball in Fallon and I have games to do. Is this the kick off to starting them again for the year?

Imagine that! How close is it Dale?

Pretty close. But it is also close to the fairgrounds where they have truck pulls, an annual motoX event and other 'loud' events. Their concern is 'dust' and noise. Some of the older, misguided seniors seem to think there would be no economic impact. They are completely ignorant to the fact that the track is watered, the provider has put up hay bales to absorb noise, and that the type of people attending the event would benefit the local hotels and eateries.

BUT...the squeeky wheel gets the grease and these FEW seniors will make enough noise to get their way unless we can get enough support FOR IT. There is no better place to put this than where they plan on putting it. They only plan on doing 6 test races this year too.
