lap timer

i'm going to get a lap timer (to see how slow I am). what should i get? Mychron or XT Racing? similar prices. seems like they are compatible with each others transmitters.  cheapest way to go seems to be an XT mini and a transmitter.

I got an XT Mini and it works most of the time when someone brings and sets up a transmitter.

It started going haywire and I had it repaired. They said I broke its battery terminals.

I've had both. They are both good units. Either one really. This is the one I am currently using and have for the last 3 years. Still working great.

I just used my XT for the first time at the ssa track day and it worked like a charm. Im even faster than I thought I was... HAHA
