Fernley Grudge Racing this Friday Night (For the bikes)

We had so much fun Friday! The dice and the haggling on space was the best part! We have it all on video!  And I lost the bracket due to my negotiation skills.  3rd round elimination rule went like this... 

Since I had the faster vehicle of both cars and bikes, I rolled the dice.. I had to give 3 seconds up versus space to make it interesting. So they made me stand to the back of my bike while it was running staged. And when the truck I was racing hit the gas I was suppose to run get on my bike and go chase him down.  I LOST by a car and a half!  I have to say this was one of the cooler ways to lose.   The kick stand got jammed on the asphault and cost me the race.   

This is just one of the races that went on.   We will be doing it again in July. 

A Mazda RX7 won the grudge match!  He won 400 dollars!!!!!   We had 3 bikes in the finals!  Yzinger would had made it if he hadnt lost his last race of the night. Lost by half a nose to a car!!!!

*note* a DRAG car who conned me into giving him a bike length!!! But all in all, it was worth it. Definitly something I would do again. I got my launches dailed in by the end of the night too. It was definitly cool to be able to race an SPL turbo bike too...and beat him! I like to think it was my skill, but I think he just had too many ponies to hook up the back tire

Sounds like it was a hell of a time though! Jason, congrats on taking out the man! Ask any racer, any real racer... It doesnt matter if you win by an inch or a mile... winning is winning! :lol

Yo Diggity. I plan on showing up to get ready for our drag races. I just don't know what bike to bring.  But we'll see.  I'm a little bit hesitant only because I've never done anything like this before. I want to support my buddies at SPL. So I plan on going. Let's check it out? Bring you RAT BIKE R6 and let's do this? You can probably EVEN  FORTGET YOUR SEAT.

J, it was this last Friday, the 26th. Sounds like they are doing it again in July, but my July is already booked when it comes to weekends.
