Put me down for NOT being a Will Ferrell fan. To me. He's not funny at all. The man is over 6 feet tall and acts Stupid.  To me. Sorry My 2 cents. But you can watch him all you want. Have fun.

I liked Talladega nights because it really made fun of NASCAR...I liked nascar a few years ago, not so much  now.

Haven t seen Black Books at all. there are a few other Scottish comedy shows that are hilarious but you would need a translator to understand them *LOL*

I have some Billy Connelly LP's that people here in the states would really need a translator, I feel Ferrell and others are a wee bit crude a times.
I became insane with long intervals of horrible sanity.

Holla.    Dennis is the man!
He has his own show again, but's it's political commentary humor.
He is one of the funniest people EVER.   I recall his rant about airline travel "when did flight attendants become so _____ pissy?  They have hair the tensile strength of Elsa Lancaster in 'Bride of Frankenstein," They're a waitress in a bad restaurant at 30,000 feet,  they've traded in their entire adult life for cheap airfare. . . etc. (holy crap I quoted all that from memory... I need to get a hobby)
