His transvestite is still able to reproduce. The next scheduled appointment for neutering is in mid November.
Fingers crossed this time, everybody!

A couple of friends and I did almost that exact route back in late August. Be careful guys, we didin't get home until after 9:00PM and that was with a 9:15AM start AND when the days were much longer. If you don't like to drive at night, think twice about this one.

Jim: Im glad your still alive, you should come ride sometime...Like possibly this weekend.
Speaking of which I'm not sure if we will be doing La Porte. With the late start and the long ride, I think i might be a little much, but if there are people out that way who would like to join we can defiantly come out that way.... Otherwise, we will probably shoot around some ideas Sunday morning around where to go. Maybe Ice House or Monitor, or Gold Lake... Whatever everyone is thinking. Everyone should come down for some coffee and a little SSA/NSC action. We will meet at the Starbucks on Pyramid and McCarran @10. www.ridensc.com

I'm thinking about it.  My vote would be for La Porte, Downieville, GoldenLake, Truckee, ???, ???, ???.

10AM is quite late for starting, especially considering the one hour Fwy/Hwy ride to Quincy.  9:30 or 9:45 would give enough of a jump start to make Downieville in time for a late lunch.

I am in for a 9:15 departure. Starbucks at McCarran and 1-80? You can make this ride and be home by 5:00 PM, just ask me and the green gobblin how? ;D.

The green gobblin just LOVES Oregon Hill Rd. ::)

My son wants to go so I will be on the Battlecruiser. My front tire is toast on the CBR.
2400 miles and this >:(

I think I am going to get PR2's for the CBR and get better mileage out of the tires.

i don't think you'll beat 2400 miles regardless of what rubber you use.
I get 2000 less than you sometimes

I REALLY hope you are wrong ;)
I think the track day on the RFR volcanic "road" was the real culprit.

2400 miles is great on sport bike tires.  You don't seem that you wore down the center, so I'm not sure a Dual compound tire will be more durable for you.
Also, RFR isn't bad on tires. . .The other tracks tear them up faster

Sorry Whiskytango (WT?  :D) I'm more down with Wills' 9:15AM and I think I'll try to have an enjoyable slow ride.  Maybe you guys will catch us along the way.  Is the ride a time stamped NSC ride?  Wills says he's negotiable on the time & place.  So am I.

I'm kinda out of it right now.  I got cited hours ago by a REALLY and I mean REALLY pissed off CHP on Hwy 88, near Jackson. Walked into a firestorm with this officer.  I was getting a ticket b/c of association with "you guys," which I think he meant was sport bikers who "need to slow it down up here."  He yelled at me for 15 minutes and said if he wanted he could arrest me and have my bike impounded.  I was left there shaking in my boots with a CHP gift in hand.  Cited for 70MPH, but he said I was going well over 80.  He continued yelling at me after he gave me my DMV license back, then abruptly stopped, said he was DONE WITH ME and sped away.

Yah Redleader and I are still up in the air about the destination with a lean toward going to Wentworth springs rd and doing some laps back and forth on the twisties.  Our down fall is the NSC meet time is bumped to 10 in the fall because of the tempurature in the earlier AM.  It says 10 but we try and meet through the ninth hour so we can get the bro-ing down taken care ;) of by the posted meeting time.
So far it still appears as though it is still just Me and Morgan(Redleader) and he sounded sort of puckered up about a longer-ish ride.
So ya'll know where we will be in the morning if anyone wants to come with, its all good.
Sorry about the abuse  ???  :'(  :-\ you had to take from hte CHP >:(... Thanx for taken one for the team...     Be safe

Ya, we try to keep the time somewhat regular-ish, or at least what its saying on the NSC message board. we will probably put a final vote in for destination in tomorrow morning, but its looking like i-80 to wentworth, back through icehouse or 89 to downeyville and auburn. They should be long enough to get out jollies off but still get back in time for supper.
We will be meeting at the Starbucks on Pyramid and McCarran in Sparks doe a little coffee and BSing. If someone does decide to go earlier and or cant make it to Sparks to meet up, me or WT(Josh) know by either posting here, The NSC site, messaging/emailing us and we will do our best to catch up/meet up with you. The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned.

Wentworth springs is too short and loaded with bears, the kind that take your money! How a bout a better, longer road with no bears? We can go 89 to Oroville and back up torwards Quincy on Rt 116. This road has twice the distance of Wentworth Springs and is brand new...really sweet! No bears either! You could take Rt 80 to Rt 20 to Rt 70 to Oroville, then up 162. No need for laps or worries of the ticket masters!

A very good turnout today and a lot of pondering along the way.  Tasty pizza, a carbon reducing walk-your-bike, a vanishing bolt, a "I meant to do that" moment in Bassetts, and overall a spectacular day yet again with members of the SSA.
