QuoteWhen the light turned green, Morgan said his bike malfunctioned, causing the front tire to leave the ground,

Damn I hate when that happens! Sounds like a n00b with poor clutch/throttle control making excuses...

you guys ever consider that he might be a member of our club and reads this board? OR....that he could benefit from becoming a member of our club? Doesn't sound like he would become a member, or remain a member, after reading this.

I know I did it once, and even basically claimed the same thing to the cops...

They didn't believe me.

Then step up and be counted! Time for some tough love. Put SSA stickers over your bike's new scratches.

I wondered what if it were a legitimate malfunction, a broken clutch cable just as he left a stop. That wouldn't wheelie/loop your bike unless you were giving it waaaay too much gas. Stuck throttle?

Most likely the malfunction was from the 20-year-old nut behind the controls. No big deal. But to blame it on the bike after making a mistake, well that invites laughter and derision.

one time while working at the old shop on Mill I was trying to do a burnout on my tl1000. It didn't go so well. smashed my fairing, my knee and was so embarrasing. lol good times though.
