New Rider here

New rider in the area and just wanted to introduce myself.  30 years old and I just bought my first bike, 2001 Kawasaki ZR7S and I love it.  I bought the bike in the Bay Area, good price and had it checked out, so hoping to get it up from my friend's house (in Hollister) this weekend so I could get the most of riding in before Truckee becomes a winter wonderland.

Having lived in Truckee and experienced the winter wonderland for a few, I can offer this one suggestion.
  Enjoy August (9am-9pm)

First tuesday of every month is Bike Night at LaVecchias on Virginia and Moana.  Nice Italian place that lets us invade the bar area during the winter months.
