You are right Andy, and for some of our members that have not experienced other racetrack; you are in for a treat!! I went to Tunderhill with my man Jerome and KFG (known fast guy) Andrei for the first time la September, and had a wonderful time. How about this: only focus on lines and smoothness, no worries about bumps, patches, holes etc.

I seriously stopped reading for a second at KFG and thought, "who is KFG?" LOL. I'm not fast...I just carry a brisk pace. We need more trips like that next year!

About the bumps. Is this still an issue? Get used to it and forget about it (that's what I did). Seriously though, how many people have gone down because of the bumps? I can't think of anybody at all. I've had bad pogo like mid corner bumps and that just tells me that I F'd up and got on the wrong line.

I went to Thunderhill last spring. I stayed in Williams (about 30 miles from the track) I paid U$32.00 per night with breakfast included. Like Andy said, the track asphalt was amazing. I miss that track because is a fast track with blind hill. 
We should go everybody together next year.

Feel bad... I used to get out there twice a month.  But the economy finally shafted me too
sold my track bike cuz it was hard just to keep tires on it.  Trying to restructure to hit it hard again but its taking awhile.
