boys & girls-

I'm thinking of hosting some minis (50's-100's)  on my backyard mini-bike track this sunday afternoon.

I think the snow will be mostly gone by then, there's still a foot or so on the ground.

Everybody's welcome, but stock pipes are required on the bikes. Gotta keep the neighbors happy.

I live in Cold Springs, 20 minutes north of downtown Reno.

Call me for ez directions.  677 9250

Be ready for mud!

Hey, Kev, that sounds like a blast, but I moved Ian's XR50 to his house in Shingle Spings.  Do you still have loaner bikes?

I've got the two XR100's, and I think Kay is bringing one. So there should be at least those three to play with.

Come on, sunshine!

Time-late morning (11-ish)  through the afternoon will be best.

The sun dissappears a bit after 4pm, so we'll probably be worn out & done by then.

Be careful with those boards strapped to yer feet!

Yardsale Rocks!

Eric came over this afternoon, he didn't realize that if he wanted to ride he'd have to shovel first!  (I didn't realize it either...sorry Eric)

But he put his back into it and before long there was a one-line track through the snow.  So around we went, alternating between riding the

100's and riding the snow-scoop.  By the time the sun went down, the track had grown wide enough for two bikes, and traction was pretty good! (mostly, except for the soupy bits)

But we were able to get lots of laps in, burn some calories, and practice sliding the front wheels. Woohoo!
