Sounds like it'll be a week or so till we get to go play, i'll keep ya posted when I hear more news.

Boys without a date will have to stand by the wall, looking fidgety and embarrassed.  Make yourselves useful, Bring cameras, maybe put us on the U-tubes...

As for 2-strokes, make sure they've got a quiet muffler & running a lean oil mixture. Same for the thumpers!
Don't want to smoke the place out the first time, that'd be less than smart...
The ceiling is pretty low & ventilation is marginal.  Don't want to have a waist-up cloud!!!

cheers

Say Kevin outside new rubber any special prep on bikes. I need to repack the 2 strokes pipes to quiet maybe rejet to lean what else? And are knobbies ok?
MOTOISM my desease from wich there is no cure.

Oh should we think about ventilation? I can bring a H O floor fan.

break into the local fire house and borrow their ventilation.

Serious consideration, actually, and a smart thing to have been brought up.  Exhaust makes me feel funny at the track, AND on group rides

Sounds like all we need is a date.

Thanks Alan, for those who don't know he is my personal ass..

What's a personal ass?

I should not use date and ass so close to each other. I should of stated assistant.   ;)

I'll try and find a bike. I'm in.

MOST IMPORTANTLY - Make sure and call me 322-4311 ext 14 and I'll come and film it!

independent

Thanks everybody for your response!

Still waiting on the powers-that-be to decide on a date for us to come and play.

When I know for sure, i'll post up here with the info.

independent

OK, here's an update-thanks for all your patience!

We'll find out tomorrow night (monday) for sure, but it's sounding like next wednesday night, jan 27, the place will be open to those of us with small four-strokes.

That means 50's to 150's, and no two-smokes, sorry.  Stock mufflers will be best, to not piss off/freak out the landlords. Quiet bikes are good!

Time & location to be announced if we get confirmation tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Admin CATZ

If it gets the OK tomorrow lets get a count ASAP of those people who have a bike and can go.

The only day next week I have plans is Wed but if enough people are going to show up I'll cancell my plans so I can film you guys.

I'm bringing an extra bike, so bring your riding gear! And yes, that's an open invite.  Everybody needs to try this, it's too much fun!

I use an extra set of RR leathers, some use MX gear, just remember that the floor's concrete. Not too abrasive, but damn hard.  Body armor=good!

I use dualsport/touring boots, MX boots get heavy really quick! RR boots are good, the hot set-up is a piece of carpet duct-taped to the bottom of the left boot.
Makes for a nice slide.

Anyone that can bring a good fan & extension cords is requested to do so. We want to keep the air moving!

And just so it's not a surprise, there will most likely be a $5-10 donation collected from participants.  That'll go a long way towards impressing the landlords, and hopefully encourage them to invite us back again & again.

Well, I'm sorry to bring bad news, but just got back from a preliminary meeting with the building landlords.

They said 'no'.   Damn.

Does anybody have access to an empty warehouse?

Slidin'  on smooth concrete is just too much fun to give up on.

Redleader has a spot, PM him.  It is not my place to discuss, but we can ask.  It is outside.
