The forum should be regularly purged of old stuff. It will make things faster and reduce errors. I'm thinking of cleaning up the following:

1. Deleting all members who have not posted since 01-01-2009
2. Deleting all topics that have not been posted in for the last 120 days (except stickys).

Any thoughts?

Number 2 is going to have to happen some time. I can make it 180 days ago. (6 months)

No replies in 120 days. . .    is different than any post over 120 days.  It just clicked in my head.
I good with the original number 2

Yes on 1.

Can we leave the Garage topics alone. Sometimes we may want to go back to a subject that has not been touched in a long time

This. If a thread contains usefull information...like how to ride RFR, or another track...how to do stuff to your bike. Leave it. If it's "who's riding today", can it.

#1 is a-okay.
#2?  The site is very quick.  I don't know how it could be any quicker.  My personal preference is to keep 370-380 days.  It allows me to go back on ride reviews or history and see the who, what, where & when.   But I'm not going to cry about it either.  Whatever you think works best for the SSA.
It's about taking in the most corners to your destination, not about the shortest, quickest route.
