Hi guys,

I know a local Incline firefighter who also rides and mentioned something about getting out more and riding, and I thought RFR might could put her skills to good use.

I think she's interested in riding her Bandit more, also, could probably be talked into a track day or two to build some riding confidence?????  Anyways, should she call Jerome, Justino, or ?????

PM me the contact info and I'll pass it along.

Thanks!

we dont' know yet what we'll have to provide at RFR. Thanks for thinking of that and keep her info handy for when we know more.

Yeah, I have talked to my friend in Yerington as well who is willing donate her time out there, she has lots of her own equipment.

The insurance companies may mandate the presence of a licensed vehicle, as opposed to a skilled person.
We'll definitely keep her (and others) in mind because we all feel better knowing there are trained responders standing by.

Every single track day, I went over and thanked them for being there, and let them know I appreciated their presence.

Not there at Test and tune days? ???

edmunsan. . . I fixed your post.  when you quote someone just type AFTER the last quote, so it's seperate.

Private ambulance at RFR.

as an FYI, my volunteer dept used to do all the EMT work at the outlaw cart races and the motocross races in Carson. Carson's Warren Engine Company Volunteers used to do the Speedway. We got a $100 donation and a meal. One of my old Ambulances is/was the ambulance at RFR even (the red one).

Chances are, arrangements could be made with the Fernley Volunteers to provide a rig and EMT's if needed. But...first things first...we need a track :)

My old volunteer department would do similar stuff for a few hundred dollar donation.
NY/NJ Giant's Stadium would pay 500 dollars to have us their for an event. . . concerts mostly.

And was thinking about asking them in Yerington for the same thing... I don't know if you guys have friends in closer towns but I knew Lacey and knew she would do it...

one of the problems is getting a crew that is close to the track, and in the same county. Mark Twain Volunteers, Silver Springs, Fernley, maybe Dayton. But Yerrington is not really that close and may be a little far out of their district to be allowed to work it. dunno.

I'm pretty sure Fernley and Yerington are both Lyon County, and last time I checked, Lacey was the Volunteer Chief, so who knows...

well...give it a shot...see what she says. can't hurt to ask

on a separate but related note, i have an AED (don't ask how or why) that i obviously don't use or need. If that can be donated in some way i can finally get rid of it.

you must be fun at parties with that thing LOL
