Hey guys, thank yall for the support. The tagging happened January 1st. It's all gone now, I had a contractor fix it since it was so massive, on all sides of the building (including office and drive-thru as well as front door, awnings, bricks and signs). I am out $ 1,000 but the total cost was more than 3 grand, insurance paid the rest. This was the sixth time!!! We caught some of those kids, red handed, last summer but RPD said they could do nothing (some technicality about not been able to point out who sprayed which part, even though we saw them do it, just not who did what......bull-crap!!!) In fact after I told the officers that I would randomly point out the kids and their graffiti, I got yelled at by them for lying about the facts. I will not call the police next time......

fyi. city will clean them for free. there is graffiti unit that came to my house and cleaned my fence when I got it. You just have to call them.

If you ever catch them again make the cops call their parents to come and pick the punks up. If they are over 18 then make the cops charge them with criminal tresspass and vandalism. Friggin RPD.....  It's a criminal tresspass with intent to damage property of another. No need to prove who did what. Its a crime, charge them.

Ah, you're assuming that they have parents who care. If I ever did something like that I'd have been screwed but unfortunately, we don't seem to see normality in parents anymore.

Yea what he said! Take me for example I got my 13yr son an 80 MPH cart, and my15 mo.old grandaughter a PW50. THAT'S NOT NORMAL! I had better do the right thing and sell those dangerous toy's and go get the new KTM 350 SX four stroke comming out this summer and keep those children safe!

I think ya'all need to check into the laws. I can look them up if he has the kids name and info but seems to me (again, need to confirm) that parents are responsbible for the actions of their teens. This is a crime and there are penalties (again, shame on RPD this time).  If you want your monay back sue the parents and the kids. Get your money back. This is BS. The law is there to help. If you saw any one kid participate brig it to bear on them and their parents. If the parents do care or can't control their kids then they can pay. Thier problem not yours.

I'm sick of lack of responsibility in our society. Can you tell? GRRR!!!

I'm on board with you but it is not always that easy. An example is this: A couple of years ago my grandmother had her vehicle broken into and vandalized as did others on her street. A minor with a long record was caught and the mother was on welfare so no cash and from what I hear, the kid got a slap on the wrist.
