Dave... Great to hear you're ok and out of the hospital. Take care of yourself...

a general note:
The vast majority of us are either in, or quickly approaching the age where medical concerns increase.
The rest of you can help us recognize when we collapse.
Heart attack symptoms can be very diverse, here are some symptoms.

Chest discomfort or pain
This discomfort or pain can feel like a tight ache, pressure, fullness or squeezing in the center of your chest lasting more than a few minutes. This discomfort may come and go.
Upper body pain
Pain or discomfort may spread beyond your chest to your shoulders, arms, back, neck, teeth or jaw. You may have upper body pain with no chest discomfort.
Stomach pain
Pain may extend downward into your abdominal area and may feel like heartburn.
Shortness of breath
You may pant for breath or try to take in deep breaths. This often occurs before you develop chest discomfort.
Anxiety
You may feel a sense of doom or feel as if you're having a panic attack for no apparent reason.
Lightheadedness
You may feel dizzy or feel like you might pass out.
Sweating
You may suddenly break into a sweat with cold, clammy skin.
Nausea and vomiting
You may feel sick to your stomach or vomit.

If you suspect that you are having a myocardial infarction (heart attack) don't delay in calling an ambulance.
Driving to the hospital is not a good idea because you could need a lot of help on the way.

A DRAGON

Dave Happy to hear your out of the hospital.

Hope your feeling better soon :D

Take it easy for a while. It's unreal how something like that can put a grown man down.

Hi Everyone:

I really appreciate all the continued support from everyone.  It is really scary how fast things can change.  It really only took about 15 seconds for my life to flash before my eyes.  You realize how important having fun is.  You know like getting in more track days! Thank you, Justin for the informative information not only related to me, but all the great information you shared with the group.  Knowledge is a powerful thing.  Sure, Alan keeping the tires warm works for me.  Just wondering if that comes with a wax too?

Dave,
Glad to hear you are home and doing somewhat better.  Take it easy and get your energy level back up.  Plenty of trackdays to be had once you are feeling better.  Let us know if there is anything you need, other than the wax, of course.

Thank you, Beth.  I am doing a little better today.  I cannot wait to get back on the track.  It was good seeing you guys at THill a couple weeks ago.

Dave,
It was good to see you, too and to see you riding so well.  A little R & R and you should be back to it.

Justino,
Great info about heart attacks and symptoms.  Sometimes, we think we are too young to have a heart attack but they can get anyone so great advice on what to look for.  Thanks.

Beth,
Women have some different symptoms, too.  Abdominal pain or referred pain to the jaw or shoulders.
My criteria is generally this.
Is the pain be reproducible?
Does anything you do make it go away, or get worse?  Does coughing make it worse?
Cardiac pain tends to be constant and not made worse by coughing or bearing down.

You're welcome, Pal.  I'm glad to offer some support.  The unknown is definitely scary. Let all of us know if you need anything.
