I am always thinking of the great bikes I have owned.  I wish I have never sold any of them.  I do understand why.  Lets put a list of street bikes we have owned/registered to date in order.  We often talk about this with friends at bike night(which should be starting happening soon).  Another trip to the past.

1988 Honda Hawk 650nt
1996 Honda cbr600 f3
1997 Honda cbr900rr
1997 Yamaha yzf1000
2000 Thrimph speed triple 955i
2003 Yamaha yzf r6
2005 kawasaki zx10r
2007 Suzuki gsxr750

My honda hawk I miss the most. It is why I fell in love with riding in the first place.  Then it was my 900rr.  I might like me 750 (a bike that I have wanted for 10 years or so)which I have just purchased, I will update when I ride it.  I would like to see what you all have had.

Paul the zx750 really sticks out on your list.  What is your favorite.

Justin you had a V-strom, wow some one bought one of those.  I think thay made a 650 too.  What happend to your st 1050?

77 Honda CB550F
88 Kawasaki ZX750 Ninja
87 Kawasaki EX500
84 Yamaha XT600
89 Yamaha FZR600

92 Honda CBR600F2
91 Suzuki DR350S
02 Kawasaki EX250 Ninja
87 Honda CBR600F Hurricane
08 Yamaha WR250X

Great bikes were EX500 and F2. The 500 because I really learned how to ride twisties and race on it, and rode all over California. The 600 because it did everything great: commuting, sport touring, endurance racing, and ran like a clock.

I might be missing a bike or two. You said only registered street bikes. I almost forgot my 350 and went back and added it.

I spent almost all of my riding in the dirt...

The v strom and wee strom (650) are excellent bombproof machines. They are both L-Twin's.
My motor was the same as the TL-1000 but obviously tuned differently.  My brother was a big 'adventure rider' with a big BMW GS.  He's the one that talked me into that style of bike.  The KLR was awesome but my trips were bigger and longer and it became frustrating to travel with 30hp.  I wanted a bike that I could take on fire roads/forest service roads but actually get somewhere.  Something that was super tall for the city commuting i was doing.  The Vstrom filled the bill perfectly.  I started to do more touring and less fireroads, and well. . .  I'm kind of a sporty guy so i went to by the Triumph ST which was a wonderful machine until Jerome introduced me to the track.  The honda dealer was happy to take the ST 1050 on trade.
If you look carefully my recent list has
cylinder pattern of
1
2
3
4
1
Time for that Harley. . . or a Ducati

my favorite is a easy choice, the 2000 R-1. that bike got me back into riding, It was soo comfortable, and fast, and well taken care of. It had every upgrade possible. now I miss her and wish I could have her back!

Yeah, but you said, " Lets put a list of street bikes we have owned/registered to date in order." I never rode it on the street and never registered it. That leaves a few other "street" bikes off the list, too.
