Probably a similar route as we took last time, but an earlier start, more roads and towns to take in.  This is not an alternate to Sunday's ride, but in addition to.

Update: Here is my proposed route and meet up at the Auburn Standard Gas station 10:30AM.  I'm departing at ~7:45 on my little detour, meeting up with Dean Gixxr there and destination to be Wentworth Springs/Icehouse roads.  Stopping for some action pics again and maybe to watch some of the Sacramento talent out riding.  Temps are forecast to be high 80s low 90s, so bring water.

Also tossing around the idea of a Ft. Bragg sleepover in July probably.  Take in Wills' route over, then ride up and down the coast the following day and return.  Others are welcome for all the day's riding or portions thereof.

It's about taking in the most corners to your destination, not about the shortest, quickest route.

I'll be at Ft Bragg July 12-16. Only bike I'll have has peddles though :(

Used to always go to the coast every year for an  Overnight. Stay in Roseville friday night. Start Hwy 1 first thing in the morning at Mill Valley. Stop at Point Reyes for breakfast. Head north to Ft. Bragg for lunch. Spend the night in Eureka. Follow Hwy 36 to I-5. Head down to Hwy 162 and head home. That was always a wonderful ride.

That's a beautiful pic of your bike by the coast. I just loved that ride.

Actual route.   ;D  What a blast.  It was like a weekday.   Nobody out there...well except for a few Sacramento sportbikes on Mosquito Ridge.  One of them caught my attention when we pulled up at Foresthill.  She had taken ownership of her husband's old 2003 ZX-9r and was elated at seeing another 9r show up.  Like a kid in a candy store I'd say.

Took in sights I had never seen before.  And so much technical riding, I was worn out by the end of the day.  See you guys for Sunday's ride.

First three pics were taken at Loon Lake

Notice the baby iceberg floating by?

Yup, that's a fallen Sequoia.  I should have sucked my gut in.   :-[

That was Danni! Her husband works at Sears Pt. Both of them might be out at our next trackday. She did one with us last year.

That's too funny.  I'll have to ride out there this month to say hi to her.  She was very outgoing and fairly tall too for a girl, like a fashion model >5' 8"?...but I only looked at her face the whole time. She did say the bike was originally purchased from a friend who tracked the bike on occasion, so they knew him.  Her bike looked like this, but with an aftermarket exhaust.

A Dragon.  You and Regina are the reason I throw these pics up.  Glad you like 'em and always willing to share!

N10sive, you're the peanut butter in our sportbike group sandwich.

Nice meeting you too IDontDoTrix.  See you left an indelible impression on someone you didn't even know.  Be careful on your new toy.  She's a beast!
