Hey, I'm new to this group and just want to get word out about a new class the NV Rider Motorcycle Program is putting on.  It is called the Advanced Rider Course - Sportbike Techniques (ARC-ST).  It is a 1 day class scheduled for 7/25/2010 (yeah, bummer, Laguna weekend), but if you are going to be around it might be worth checking out.  It is a new program and there is limited info about it right now, but I have spoken with some of the instructors who teach it and they say that it is taking the MSF training to a whole new level.  It is the same as the military sportbike class, if anyone out there has taken it, you may be able to add something.  There is some classroom stuff then 8 riding exercises.

If you want more info, you can contact the NV Rider Motorcycle Program at 775-684-7480 and ask for Ken or Bev.  It will be in Carson City and the cost shouldn't be too bad.  $60.00

Hi again, we need your help!  This is the first ARC-ST class to be offered in Nevada and this class will either make or break it.  It is only $60.00 and 9 more people need to sign up very soon.  I am begging for your support for purely selfish reasons.  I want to get certified to teach this class, but if this first one fails there won't be any to teach.  Only 60 bucks and you might learn something.  At the very least you get a chance to ride some exercises on your bike that you may never get a chance to try out on the street.  Just about all of the advertising we get for any class is word of mouth, so we need people to take this class so we get the word out.   Thank you.

way cool! Thanks for posting that up here!

We use the track to do teaching, but we find these types of course VERY helpful to new riders as an intermediate step. Lots of good info can be learned in this type of course.

I just got an "Out of the Office until 6/29" reply from Ken, so ask for Bev when you call NV Rider.

The MSF military sportbike class is a good class.

WE haven't worked it out yet. She's still getting sign ups. As far as I know we want to keep to active. But we just might have to open it up to fill some spots.
