Yeah I heard the rumor.  I'm surprised though. In his book he said Ducati was much like  Honda. We know he couldn't wait to leave them. It'll be good for Italian who want a Italian on a Ducati. I kinda like it to. I am after all a Rossi fan

I wouldn't say it's in stone yet. Still just rumors, but seems to be likely. One thing I've learned about professional sports is until you hear an official announcement don't count on anything! I can say this though. If he goes to Ducati, his mechanics/team is coming with him. Just like he did when he left Honda. That was one stipulation Rossi would not budge on. Spies was the same with his crew chief Tom Houseworth. I kind of want to see Rossi on a Ducati personally. I think it will be interesting to see what happens next year with the Championship. Him on a Duc and Spies on a Factory Yamaha?? Hell yeah!

Not in stone yet but I figured that Lorenzo and Rossi wouldn't be on the same team for another year. Yamaha is doing what they think is the smart move and going with the younger of the two. Oh how quickly they forget doing nothing before Rossi. Everyone seems to agree that Rossi is also thought of as one of the greatist when it comes to development too so I can see it being a big plus for Ducati with the coming change back to 1000's. I wish they'd make the change for 2011.

After taking a pay cut and Lorenzo getting a raise I hope Rossi and Ducati clean house. I agree that his crew will stay the same no matter what. Bring on the red and yellow.
