On board Camera

I'm looking to buy a camera/mount to bring to this August trackday and wondering if you guys have any suggestion. I dont have a lot to spend on it so the cheaper the better

Go Pro Hero at Costco for $99. Can't go wrong with that. comes with waterproof case and 3 mounts.

I went to the Plumb lane (Reno) Costco; no Go Pros, yet I see lots of people posting pictures of other branches with them for $99.  Grrr.  If you do find one with them, post up where you got it so others can take advantage of it.

Last time I was in the Carson Costco there was LOTS of them on display there. It's in southern Carson just below highway 50 west (Spooner) on Clear Creek. I will be unable to check it out today but if someone has time to scout it out for others and see what's left it might be a cool thing to do.

Thanks for the info. That saved my friend the ride over there (cause I am always down to ride anywhere  ). Apparently there is one in Sparks. I'll check that one out and let you guys know!

I have learned to go with a lipstick cam on the front to a camcorder in a pell case under the seat, this way when I get the great fottage of me crashing again, the camera will survive and I am out just the lipstick cam. You can find many suppliers on the internet by searching for Lipstick Camera.

Yardsale runs a rig that has a separate cam from the recorder. I think it's an Axial brand. It's a bit pricey compared to gopro/vholder cameras though.

Hahahahaha... I'm brazilian man! That's how I did.  I went to the one in Sparks and no camera there, asked the guy on the store to call other branches but he said he could only check online. After doing so he said nobody had it, not even in Carson. But I didn't believe him, got back home and called Carson branch and they gave me the hint that the Reno one had it, so went there, bought it and then you guys now what happened... I was soo happy man, soo happy! Damn it!

But the damn camera is fine... hehe
