New Rider

Hey everybody, new guy here.

My name's Wiles and I just picked up an '04 SV650 last month.  It's my first bike; I've only been riding for a few weeks.  I've been lurking on the forum for a little while, seems like a good group.

I definitely want to tag along on some of your group rides (not this Sunday as I have a futbol match to watch) and maybe hit a few bike nights, if you'll have me.

Is the Gardnerville bike night still happening?  That thread hasn't been updated in a while.  I'm up here in South Lake.

I'm also interested in eventually getting into track days.

Hey dub, welcome to the board. Riding IS what we do (I am getting my Duc out of Steve's hospital 2WCP Mon or Tue) and I'll be watching the Wold Cup final as well. Even if Italy, Japan, and the US are out. Tuesday night at 6:00PM at La Vecchia is bike night. Ill be the guy running aroud with a chef jacket, name's Alberto.

Dang! G-Ville bike night is Tuesday?  I work evenings on Tuesday.  Maybe I'll try to make it down to an occasional Reno bike night on Monday.

You're probably right on the "bike nights threads". I believe that Gardnerville is Monday but n10sive, one of the moderators, is the organizer for the bike night there. P M him for more info.

Dub welcome to the club. Gardnerville is on Monday nights. Starts at 6:30 goes till 8:00.  Hope to see you in Reno. Next Week is our big ride to the Yuba River. It's a swim ride and very popular. Feel free to tag along.

Welcome Wiles. Yes, we have a bike night in Gardnerville on Monday night at "The New El Rancho Grande" located on the west side of Hwy 395 a few places down the street from Sharkey's (on the curve).
