I'll be the first to tell you, I'm a dumb ass! some have heard, others have not.... Tuesday I took my new dirt bike out for the first time and it is a powerhouse! so, being the super squid I am, after putting around a little bit I decided to learn how to do wheelies...  :disco
I got a couple good ones off, and told Kim to get the camera to give me a little extra courage to rip a good one! so I got that bike moving, chopped the gas, compressed the forks, pulled up and just pinned it! that puppy raised right up, twisted sideways and slammed me into the dirt pretty damn hard and the bike landed on top of me! what a squid! So I got X-rays today and I broke my Fibula, and an inch lower I fractured it! what a painful experience for my first crash! Thank you soo much to everyone that helped me today, Thank you Jerome for meeting me at medical and spending the day carrying my fat ass around, Thanks to Steve 2wcp for finding me a set of crutches, and everyone else that called offering help!
as I crawl away into winter.... :squidly

Well youngster.  They say if your not crashing your not getting any better. :GrnWheelie

Remember what Dr. Smith said.   Get the big insurance tomorrow just to be safe.  It's cheap compared to nothing at all.  Don't keep being a squid. :squidly :squidly

Your also welcome for the help.  I'm was just treating you like you do the rest of us.  We're lucky to have you around.  Hope you enjoy the pie Phat Boyeeeeeeeee    :picspics :picspics

Hey Paul, don't sweat it. Just take whatever you can learn from it and move on. You are a lucky :lucky man as you have a great woman by your side to help you get over it. Believe it, I know first hand the meaning of that. Miss you guys.

Damn buddy. Sorry to hear that. At least you picked a good time to do it. End of the season. You'll be ready to go by the time the sun comes out again for next year. Happy healing my man.  :)

Ouch!  Heal up.  While you're recovering make some more videos.  Before you know it, it'll be spring.
It's about taking in the most corners to your destination, not about the shortest, quickest route.

Wheelies...and Stoppeees......

Ouch Ouch Ouch.

I swore them off long ago, and I bet  you have as well.

You have a great attitude about it though, Alberto is right..learn from it and move on!! You will be a better rider for it.

Take care!!

Sorry about your accident Paul. Well, we know It's part of this nice and fun game. Last track day I crashed too. Actually I crashed my friend's bike. It wasn't a really crash but the bike fell down and made minor scratches on  the left faring.
