Any one going on the Sunday ride from Reno?
If so what time and where is the meeting location?

I'm in, and I think they are meeting somewhere at 9: 30a.   ;D

If the ride is going through VC. Than I will be at the north end of C street at 10:30. It looks like Reno 10am and Carson 1am. If any body knows for sure if the ride is going up Giger to VC let me know.

Last year we met at the gas station at Longley and Virginia for rides south.
Schedule says VC for barBQ.
I'll be there 930-1000. Longley and Virginia

I'm still debating thunderhill on Monday but if I change my mind I'll join you. Don't forget there is the dirtbike race so VC is a zoo

Sorry guys, got sidetracked with chores and wasn't sure I'd make the inaugural SSA ride.  I'll tell you guys about it tomorrow.

I like the idea, of the Reno crew, meeting up at where Oldbolt said, Winner's Corner, S. Virginia & Longley.  We'll depart at 10AM.  Anybody who misses us, can just go directly to CC.   I hadn't factored in the dirtbike race, but had not factored it in last year either.  I think we will skip the morning southbound portion to VC.  Let's go meet DR1150 at Starbucks in CC (Topsy Lane for you newbs).  And since we'll be early, everyone can tank up with coffee and still depart CC at 11AM.

Best bet will be to eat in Markleeville (oh, darn!  :evil1).

Let's have a safe enjoyable ride.  See you Sunday!
It's about taking in the most corners to your destination, not about the shortest, quickest route.

There's no way, in my state of mind, I could make a track day Monday.   :hangover

FYI, the is a Cowboy Poetry event in Genoa today. I "think" the road through there is closed for the event. You will probably have to slab it down 395 to 88 today instead of taking foothill/jacks valley road.

Not a problem.  We're going to that too!  ;D

Thanks all for the great ride. Right up to part when I ran out of gas. Somebody forget to tell me that Markleeville does not have any gas. Damm. Thanks Dave for going to Minden for a gas can for me. My Aprilia gets right at 170.6 miles to the tank. We waited for you guys to come back over the hill. You left us their all alone. See you next ride.
