Has anyone gone over to Bike Night at PJ & Co yet this season?  I plan on heading over after work to see the happenings and have some food.  Maybe a beer too.   ;D

Good meeting you tonight Mel.   Sure we'll be riding together here in the next month or so.  And welcome to Reno.

See you guys out there Wednesday night.  We need more sportbikes there to even the odds with the HDs.

Sorry I won't be there tonight, working out instead.  DR and I ate and drank too fat this weekend.

Paying the price.   :|)

Do many people from this group show up on bike night?

GreenMachine

Yes, about as many people who 'love things sportbike' as we've had since La Vecchia on Moana was demolished and SSA had the 7:00 PM free giveaways.

Back then A Dragon's life revolved around the SSA, he brought out a PA system and spoke, did giveaways, worked in the off-season to line up trackdays for the track riders and could bring out dozen's of like-minded riders wherever he went.  However, those were some mighty big shoes to fill and SSA's role with trackdays has completely changed.  I wished it could have continued and I'd love for someone to come forward to say they're willing to dedicate time out of their busy schedules for several years of their lives to bring it all back.

In the meantime, I like PJ's bike night because I can show up, hang out with like minded motorcycling enthusiasts and enjoy a beer without any of the A Dragon dedication on my behalf.  I'm free to come and go.  And if there isn't anybody I recognize from SSA, I may find something of interest to talk to with someone I don't know.

Not that this should stop any of you from coming out, but I probably won't be back in time for the June 6th bike night either.  I'll be in Winnemucca working that day.  So if anyone wanted to buy me a beer, you'll have to wait until the following week.   :D

I should toss a big Kudo out to n10sive and Team Gorgonzola for their dedication to SSA North & SSA South as well.

Like I eluded to, I can't hold a candle to what these fine individuals have sacrificed to organize weekly events.  :clap  Maybe someday when I'm retired and infinitely wealthy I'll relight the torch and get it all going again.  Until then...

I won't be there again Wednesday, but don't let that stop you from attending.

Sorry, but I have a business commitment again.

Not that anybody will make a fuss over it, but I will be golfing tonight instead of bike night.  Sorry.  See everyone next time.

I double checked my calendar.  I'm free this evening and will be able to actually attend one more bike night.  May even stay for a beer.
