On our way to Buck's Lake this Sunday.  DR1150 and I have already ridden this route, taking the truck route around the lake.  That portion is covered quite substantially with gravel, so we'll take the route along the lake instead.  Hwy 162 has been repaired all the way to Oroville.  Last season the road was chopped up due to a land slide.

We can either have lunch in Quincy or delay and have it in Oroville.  Depending on what the group wishes, we can either return through Quincy or Downieville.  Typical ride distance is 340 miles, where Quincy and back represents ~200 of it.

The weather should be outstanding.  And we can stop for scenic pictures.

It's about taking in the most corners to your destination, not about the shortest, quickest route.

Wills, you, Bigcat, Sparky and TahoeBrian were missed.  Too bad for you guys.  :disco  Every time I go out there I feel like I'm a virgin all over again and deflowered afterwards.

I am up for it
650r, you rode admirably, riding in perfect formation in all conditions, within your abilities, courteously and mindful of others, and predictably.  Couldn't ask for more than that.

See you out there again soon and hope you're still smiling about the ride.   :evil1

Bummer I missed out! And I'm gonna miss this next weekend as well. Really excited to hear that the road is repaired, that's great news!

Good luck with that.  If I don't get the Admin code to revise the forum, like I have been asking for over a year now, SSA be offline long before that.  As it is, the SSA calendar has already collapsed and the rest of the site is on borrowed time.   :(

uh oh. Catz not around anymore?

Time to move the forum then. Plenty of peeps here that can help you get set up at a new home if it comes to that.

It could be, except that would mean changing the DNS server PTR records at the SSA registrar and I don't have those permissions either.   :|)

At every turn, a road block.

That's the easy part since Jerome owns it. He can give you permission I'm sure.
