I'm in for a ride. Might be hot in dville but I heard the new pavement is really good.

Looks like the schedule calls for 8:00 start time

I would prefer 8:30.. Not much of an early morning person.

So far looks like 3 of us. Anyone else wanting to go?

I think I can make it, but I have work later, so it'll have to be an out and back.  Besides, the Plumas fire is raging north of there.

Thanks everyone for a great ride. Hey GM what happened to you at the end there? Saw you turn around but you never caught up. Hoping you didn't get nabbed by the cop sitting at prosser

Great ride today.  Thank you everyone for showing up and riding so well.  Couldn't ask for a better group of riders!

Almost got nabbed trying to play catchup with your safe group.  I thought I'd be clever while you guys were waiting at the I-80 onramp light.  Damn if cars didn't just keep coming to foul my plan.   >:(

Once on I-80, there was a whole gaggle of cars going by the weigh station and the CHP there at Prosser, but he did come out to play.  You guys were just in front of that gaggle and I was at the tail end.  By the time I cleared the a**holes blocking the roadway going by Boca Reservior, you guys were pulling about a mile on me and stretching that.  Took the pace way up, but again got detained by unyielding traffic going down the big long downhill and by then you guys were almost out of sight.  There was another west-bound CHP at Floriston and I was thankful he didn't whip around to go after me, so I just cooled back to traffic speed.  I never seem to have BC's pace going home.

Got home just as the skys opened up.  Washed the bugs and chain grease off.  Bike's all cleaned up for next time.

Sound like a great ride...beside the traffic for GM.
