Hey guys,

How about an SSA meet and greet this Friday evening 8/17/12 at the A&W Family Restaurant on the corner of Plum and Kietzke at 7:00pm. There is plenty of outdoor seating and a huge parking lot. This will be unlike bike night at PJ & Co that has lots of bikes and riders, but if you don't know any SSA members by sight, you might never meet them. I'm hoping that at least a few of you can make it so us SSA folks can get to know one another and swap stories. This is kind of a central location and the 7:00pm meet time will allow plenty of time to get sorted after work, and after hanging out for an hour or two, you will still be able to get home and prep for a night on the town. I will be there, so just look for a little old guy on a red Yamaha FZ6. I'm sure hoping I won't be sipping on my root beer alone:) See ya tomorrow night!

That's a great idea.  I wish I could make it.

I can probably swing that, but can't stay out all night with you alley cats.   :P

Like the enthusiasm Mel!

I'll see if I can make it. Hopefully won't be raining! I saw some poor biker on Wednesday get stuck in what I believe was the most intense isolated downpour I've ever witnessed on mccarran near skyline.

Hey guys,

It's about 4:30pm and a bit cloudy here but one thing I've learned since moving up here to Reno is that the weather can completely change in an hour. So, I've got my fingers crossed that there will be no rain in sight by 7:00pm. See you there!

There's no way I'm riding in this.  The air is filthy.  I'm working late anyways, so I'll swing by with the truck.  It's dirty already anyways.  So if you don't see my bike, it's not because I'm not there.

Only caveat is that I'll need to get home to let my dog out.  So only rootbeer for me.

It's 6:00pm here and looking from the NW towards town it looks good, so see y'all there.
