Hey guys,

I just saw this come up on the KTVN Facebook page. A rider was killed about 2:00pm this afternoon on Geiger Grade. Anybody recognize the bike? Hoping it was not an SSA member. RIP rider.

Oh how awful!

I don't recognize the bike, but still very sad to hear.  I wonder if he spun in sand at the center of the road.

Thanks for posting Mel.  Not that it makes it any better, but hopefully nobody knew the rider here within SSA.

Only slightly more detail.  The bike appears to be a silver ZX-6R and the late rider is said to be from Carson City.

Too young is right. There is only one GOOD way to go and that is saving the life of someone else.

Someone at work told me that the rider had purchased the bike 3 days prior to the accident.  I wonder if that was the extent of his riding history.
