Been working on the bike all day, tires, electronics, synchronization, cleaning.  Oh am I exhausted. 

So no ride after all the prep work I did?

I'll text you on your cell for where we can meetup.  Makes sense for the Truckee round-about, where Dub usually meets us at.  Just need to know the time, but figure it'll be 11:00 - 11:30 AM.

Then I thought I lost my phone.  Then I remembered I put it in my jacket and I need it to meet up with BC.  So back to the house again.  Fuel and down the road.   

Got to Truckee late thinking I'd be riding solo today, but there at the roundabout was BC.  He had just arrived.  Sweet!!!

49 is the worst I've ever seen it with sand.  Unpredictable and awful to ride over.  Well at least from Sattley to the Yuba Pass summit.  On the other side they had only salted it with that spray.  And below Sierra City, was gravy.

Pizza was delicious.  Sun was warm and inviting.  Great to catch up with BC again.  Long time.

You guys should have slabbed it over 80 to Foresthill and ran Mosquito Ridge Rd. It was absolutely clean and flawless today where you could run a serious spirited pace. I knew you would have to be tippy toeing on most of 49 and not able to let your hair down and have some fun . Still a little too early in the year for that on 49. It won't be long though !

The trails off Stephanie are so much fun. Best there is IMO (compared to the rocks further south off Pinenut)
