My favorite part is how there is always at least one other person, sometimes as many as ten people just standing around watching instead of helping to safely load the bike.

There are a few rules we can safely infer from these clips.

1. Don't ride the bike up the ramp.
2. Don't ride the bike up the ramp!
3. Don't do it by yourself.
4. Position the vehicle so the rear wheels are as low as possible (such as where the driveway meets the street) to both reduce overall vehicle height and angle of the ramp.
5. The trickiest part is stepping in/out of the bed.  Don't rely on your superhuman jumping abilities and/or arm/leg length.  Use a step stool to get in/out of the bed while one (or more!) other people hold the bike up.

In the few years I worked at a Bike dealership, I always rode the bike up the ramp. Just make sure the ramp is wide enough! And it's much more fun backing down too! That was funny stuff!
I lost count on how many times I ran out to the parking lot to stop someone from contributing to this video.
