Roll Call - Mother's Day SSA group ride Markleeville

Okay, I'm deflating the balloon right off the bat.  I will not be leading this group ride...maybe that's a good thing???     I'll be spending it with my widowed mother.

Anyway.  Post up here if you'd like to attend. The ride route is posted in the 2013 Group Ride Schedule.  I understand from what NVgixxer has said that Monitor is fairly clean.  Not sure what the conditions are now after the recent rain showers.  Might want to take a reconnaissance lap first before getting frisky.

All you guys out there be sure to at least call your moms.  Okay, my job here is done.

I'd love to go wear some tires, with this being the first weather-perfect weekend in ages. 

However Reno River Fest & Mom's Day are tough competition.  Everyone ride safely!

I'm going to make it a point to go out with you guys soon! Ralph and I usually ride on Saturdays because he works Sundays. Anyway, as a matter of info, Ebbetts is open and the good news is that it's 95 percent clear. No sand to speak of and just a couple of spots of snow melt run-off. We headed over Ebbetts, then north on 49, 26 to 88 and home again. 246 miles of pure pleasure. 90 degrees in Angles Camp.....whew! Here is a shot of me and the Black Knight on Ebbetts Pass at Mosquito Lake. Ride safe kids!!
