Thanks to the over whelming response for this ride, I've decided to post moar details.

Meeting at the gas station at the base of Geiger grade at 11am. Kick stands up by 11:15. Grub in VC, then tear up the truck route. Then??? Be there or be sad

Did you get your bike back together and running?  Probably not much improvement or was there?

I find out tonight if I have to work tomorrow, if not, I'm in. Any special rules? Basic jeans and jacket? How will I know who I'm looking for?

Only you can asses the risks for yourself and then decide how much you would like to mitigate them.  Wear as much gear as you are comfortable with; I recommend all of it.

You will see a couple motorcycles hanging out at the gas station.  That will be them.

That's assuming we don't hold him up.  He'll be on a bike that's twice as capable as ours.  He may end up leading and waiting for us.  

Rwarner,  If you are able to ride, there are two ways you can meet up with us tomorrow.  You can ride in the back way from Silver Springs/VC on 6 Mile Canyon Road, which shoots off of Hwy 50, exactly 18 miles west of Silver Springs (waypoint B).  If you pass the Maverik, you can take that road as well.  It heads Northwest into the subdivision to cut-off 6 Mile Canyon road.  Once in VC, head north towards Reno and I-580/395.

Or if you come in from Reno, just visualize (waypoint C) this map.  We'll be at the Maverik gas station (not pictured) at the hwy 341/hwy 395 round-about.

You can take the truck route, 6 Mile Canyon or I-80 back, so you can take whichever route fancies you.

Weather permitting, this'll be my first group ride so I don't think I'll be leading anybody. If I can ill ride into Reno and take mt. rose highway. Hopefully all goes well. Hope to meet some cool people tomorrow and I've heard good things about the pulled pork BBQ in VC.
