Doin' laps on the truck route..........

A last minute decision to do a few runs up the truck route had me in the saddle at around 8:30 this morning. What a pleasant surprise to have run into (not literally  ) Papa Smurph doing the same thing! After a quick break at the VC rest stop, we decided to take a spirited run to Sierraville and back.
Whew, what a great ride and at a great pace. We decided that yes, we're getting older, but we ain't gettin' any slower!!
Maybe not this next weekend, but soon thereafter we're planning on doing Sonora Pass (hwy 108) and I'll be sure to post up if anyone else might want to join in on the fun! I'm hoping the Carson crew will be ready to ride!

Good story NV!  I'd be up for a Sonora run.  Haven't ridden it this year and could go for some of that.
