He's going to be alright, coulple fractured vertebrae is not good but In the best possible places. Conditions were perfect, I think he just got going to fast and couldn't slow down for the turn. We were coming down the east side from you a summit, a few turns above the hairpin. The tracks appear that he rode straight off the road. Dropped off similar to your get off, but three times as far down.. Maybe 50 feet! If he had been wearing proper gear he would have walked. I urged him to get armored gear but instead he bought a jacket that looks cool, and fingerless gloves. I think some Harley folk advised him what to get and he listened to them instead of me.
